Our little Luke fought longer than ANY of his doctors could believe. They did everything HUMANLY possible to help him but in the end only God could heal him. God made him like he was for his purpose & we wouldn't change a thing if we had to do this all over again. We will have more details on the service coming soon, the intent is to have a service @ Moel's in Fayetteville on Thursday night & his funeral at our church, New Hope Baptist Church on Friday sometime. Susan & I request that instead of flowers that if you feel led to send something, to please donate to the children's ministry at New Hope or to our Nigerian Mission Project which provides medical care & water to our friends in Nigeria, just designate one or the other. You can send a check payable to New Hope Baptist Church the website is www.newhopebc.org & the address is 551 New Hope Rd. Fayetteville, Ga. 30214 & just put a note in the memo. You all have helped carry us through this tough time with your kind words & prayers. We will have more updates to follow on the service times as we can. Love you all....Eric.
There is only one way to heaven & that is through Jesus Christ, Luke will be waiting for us when we get there one day. We find great hope that we will be with him then & that he will be running in Heaven (and breathing). We hope to see all of you there one day as well.
John 3:16 For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son, so those that believe in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

Thank you for sharing your faith, your hope, your sorrow and your son.
Luke will be whole again. I'm so sorry that you will miss him, though. I will pray for you to get through this. You have such faith, but I know it is still hard.
Dear Susan & Eric, Words cannot begin to express the sorrow we feel for you and your precious family at this time. In spite of great sadness for your family, we have a peace in knowing that your precious and sweet baby Luke has indeed been healed and is now in the arms of Jesus. You may never know just how many people have been touched by this dear little boy and by your steadfast faith and testimony as we read your daily blog. May Jesus, the Great Comforter, surround you and your family with His great love and peace. May He bring healing to your hearts through the love of so many who care. With love, Pete & Bev
So sorry for your loss and for Luke's short life. My mother and father lost a baby, too ... many, many years ago ... and it was heartbreaking for them - especially my mom. As a family, we never forgot our little brother.
May you always remember Luke with joy and love in your hearts. Even though he was only here for a short time, his memory will stay in the hearts and minds of many people.

We are so sorry - no words can express our sadness. Thank you so much for sharing this very personal and painful journey with our family - thank you for sharing Luke with us. Your faith is awesome and inspiring. Luke will never leave my heart or mind. He was and will always be a miracle. God bless your family.
All our love,
Becky, Chris, Lilly, Sophie & Emery Romsland
We are so saddened for the loss of your precious Luke. What faithful parents and siblings you have been to him to spend time loving him and watching him and ministering to him. Also how generous of you all to openly share your journey with us all through this daily journal. YOU have been a blessing to so many. You chose to be a vessel through which God's story of love and healing and salvation could flow. You will never fully know all the people who have heard you story and prayed for Luke, and been inspired by your lives.
We love you and will continue to lift you all to the Father who is the only One who can provide comfort for such a deep sorrow.
Much love,
Melinda and Mike

I am Jay Victory's Mom and I have been praying for Luke and had him on other prayer chains. I wept at the knowledge of your loss. I am a respiratory therapist and have been involved in the kind of care that was lavished on your sweet boy..
God Bless and Keep you.. Sam
