Tuesday

Luke made his move to Scottish Rite Hospital fine in a POURING rainstorm. At times I couldn't even see the ambulance! The NICU is so big there and very noisy, but Luke has been sleeping well. We know God has been at work in all that happened today and we look forward to some answers with the new doctors. He will be undergoing many tests tomorrow and there will be a couple different doctors looking into his situation. We continue to pray for his lungs specifically.
A few years ago as my Dad was dying my brother wrote a song that went ...maybe not quite what we wanted, maybe not quite what we planned, but walking by faith and not by sight is hard to understand. We do walk by faith, turning all this over to God who will see us through this.
Psalm 55:22 "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you."

Our Father in heaven, we cry out to you along with Susan & Eric & the many other prayer warriors that are agreeing together on behalf of Luke. You are God alone. We worship you and pray to you alone. We confess to you that we want & need answers ... but we surrender to wanting & needing to know you. To press in to know your heart. Father, Susan & Eric have claimed your Word to cast their cares on you and receive your promise to sustain them. We know there is none like you, & nothing is to hard for you. You determine what to do & then you carry it out. We thank you for the healing in Luke's bones and now we ask you to further stretch your hand out to complete his healing. Agreeing with your Word, knowing that you hear us, & that we have full power over the infirmity affecting his lungs, we decree that the infirmity is broken & his lungs are quickly healed in the name of Jesus and the power of The Holy Spirit! We further decree that with every test the doc's perform on Luke Wednesday, they find a healthy boy ready to go home! We say let it be done Lord, for you are willing & able. May many witness your miracles and put their trust in you. To you Lord be all the glory. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Susan and Eric,
Your family is on so many hearts, and so many all over the world are in prayer for Lukes healing and grace for your family.
In our small group last night we were in our study on Psalm 37. The last chapter was on rest. God will not take us out of our circumstances for that is where we grow, but he will give us grace and peace in the midst of our trials. This is my prayer, for peace and grace for your family. I know God is touching Luke and healing his body.
Just know this you are loved and are in my tho'ts and prayers every day. God bless you all. Lee
